The refugee community in Poland is extremely diverse. It is hard to find the common denominator among all immigrants – other than a longing for their country and the desire to live a peaceful life. Young people from Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and Chechnya living in Dębak refugee center and in Warsaw, are preparing a show that aims to portray their unique experiences as asylum seekers. Their latest work explores the sort of boundaries that are difficult to cross - those which society creates and maintains- nationality, culture, identity, and race.
